Sara Mojtehedzadeh is Toronto Star’s Work and Wealth reporter. The Atkinson Foundation is working with the Toronto Star to increase coverage of issues related to income and wealth inequality. The Star has created the Work and Wealth Beat to this end. Sara reports on the changing workplace, including precarious work, labour issues, and workers’ compensation. Previously, Sara worked for the BBC World Service. Her work at the Star has been recognized by the Hillman Foundation prize for social-justice oriented investigative journalism. She received the JHR/Canadian Association of Journalists Award for human rights reporting in 2017.
